Nah, i'm not sure i agree with that, i've been listening to trance for about 10 years now and i still love Tiestos music, if a track goes commercial it doesn't stop me from enjoying it. What would you call trance in it's original raw form? Do you have an example?

Sorry,that was a bit of a gross generalisation. I enjoy some of his stuff. I guess what i was trying to say was that lots of people who like him are new to trance and think he is god because thats all they have heard. Theres nothing wrong with someone like yourself thinking he is great becasue you have been listening long enough to have heard lots of artists etc to make that judgement. It just grates me when newbies say he is a god when they obviusly havent heard anything else within trance

Trance in its original raw form is basically Classic & Acid Trance (1990-1996) and to a point Progressive Trance (1996-1997)...after this trance gets stuck with the breakdown formula and thus stops becoming entrancing music. Dont get me wrong, there are still good tracks though after 1997.
