fuck the naysayers. this band is one of the most unique and beautifully poetic ever created. plus they did wonders for the british folk revival. and incongra this is coming from an open minded 17 year old, not a dentist. ok i admit this song isnt one of my favourites. and i prefer them as a duo, not keen on the womans singing at all.

Well done on placing this vid on YT.
I saw the I S B in London's SouthBank Theatre, 1970, what an amazing band. I listen to their records often. My Name Is Death is not a track to trip to! twiggy . c

I believe you mean "Big Ted" which is the first track on "Changing Horses." This is available on Amazon etc. You can get it by itself or as a budget set w/"I Looked UP," which includes "This Moment." "Big big Ted he was a real good pig...he's gone like snow on the water, goodbyeeeeee..."

I didn't even know the Incredible String Band was in concert...now I know why this did not make the movie.

It's one of those 'What if' moments- they opted to not go on at Woodstock the evening before, and returned the next day. A dark, night time performance to the mellowed out crowd would have suited them much better. This didn't make the original woodstock film did it. Anyway, by the time the film came out, Once Rose and Liqourice (girlfriends) joined, the ISB lost their uniqueness, IMHO. Read White Bicycles by Joe Boyd- he was there from the start. A great book

I get tears in my eyes seeing Licorice singing and thinking about how she disappeared around 1990. Unlike others, I love the sons and also this version.

This reminds me of the magic of the ISB concerts I went to in the early 70s. Any musical criticism misses the point, which is their charming and beautiful imperfection. To me, the Rose and Licorice period was the best - the acoustic concert punctuated by Lady Wonder and Weather the Storm to our delight.

Actually they were really big in the late 60's. I went to see them at the Royal Albert Hall in about 1970 and thought they were excellent. This performance does suck though - she's totally out of tune!

Just looking at her, one knows that poor old Licorice is no doubt bunged up with niggers.

How many hippos were in attendance at Woodstock? 5 billion? I forget exactly but, I think it shameful that out of all that number, not one of the audience had the bright idea of beating the band to death with a water logged edition of the Manhattan Yellow Pages.

Well jimmyboy8005, I don't know about hippos at Woodstock. Yes this performance does suck but they were better than this. Technical problems are plauging their performance obviously....however your comment is freakin' funny! LMAO! "Water logged edition of the Manhattan Yellow Pages"
