Yeah I agree about what you wrote in regard to why so many gay guys drive hummers now in rural areas and not just cities. Nowdays a hummer is like a uniform so people know your gay but tough. My cousin is one and he reckons the hummer represents gay guys so well because they have to be so tough on the outside to take all the taunts and abuse but they are soft and hurt on the inside. Hummers are showy too so it's like some huge banner telling the world they are gay but not in an effeminate way.

those things are everywhere with the theatre crowd too. crazy big for the city parking but all the decorators must love them to carry all their set dressing and fancy props and wigs. A van would be more practical you would think.

yup. Seems like people don't buy them to go off road anyway. The dealers will tell you guys buy them to pick up other guys, whilst straight rich guys are more likely to go buy a porsche or Audi to pick up chicks. The dealers use some saying like the tougher the car looks on the outside, the softer the guys on the inside. It's like that TV ad where the really stud guy is the one with the seven seater family car and all the pussies and posers have the sports cars and trucks.
