Last month I heard Mary Wilson of the Supremes singing this song in her Fort Lauderdale show, it was fantastic!!!!! Beautiful lyrics, and Mary also had her best in a soul and mellow moment. The song fits her perfectly.

Yes, the song is a classic - and so are John and Marlena. I don't think there is any couple in the history of daytime TV who could embody the feelings behind these lyrics quite like these two. Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn have made John and Marlena THE quinntessential soap couple. Romantic, heroic, tragic and most importantly -incredibly resilient. They have loved each other and entertained us for more than 2 decades and are still going strong. They are THE BEST!
