Certainly I'm not a rock fan or familiar to
a name known as Arnel Pineda a Filipino popular rock singer in the Philippines. I accidentally discovered him on Youtube last year (2007)while I was surfing for my favorite songs; " Open Arms and Don't Stop Believin, Faithfully " sang by legendary JOURNEY I knew this famous band since I was a child in the 70's growing up in Manila
Since I was watching CNN regularly at night I heard his name again as featured headline entertainment news that he is the chosen lead vocalist of the JOURNEY to replace the famous lead singer Steve Perry due to his throat illness. Well at first I felt sad that Steve Perry is sick & he stopped singing with his band since 1995. I truly hope that he will get well soon and to live healthy life again.
As for Arnel Pineda's Cinderella Story is very touching & it made me cry to hear his life was a struggle during his early life journey. His life experience made him strong and a better person in this process. And also his amazing voice, energetic performer blood in him with a great personality that it set him apart from the ordinary singers. Having said that " Dont
Stop Believin " and JOURNEY Band is a perfect song & group that can describe Arnel's real life JOURNEY success story ever told.
His LAS VEGAS concert and FESTIVAL DEL VINA last February 2008 is a GREAT OUTSTANDING OVATION PERFORMANCES WITH JOURNEY. IT MEANS A SWEET SUCCESS AND FOR ALL OF US THIS IS AN INSPRING NEWS "DONT STOP BELIEVIN" NO MATTER HOW HARD LIFE IS... -Please listen to his song " Dont Stop Believin" It

Adding more interest to me is HAPPY SLIP & MARK MEJIA a 16 yrs. old boy. Who was reigned as INT'L STAR SEARCH CHAMPION IN CALIFORNIA when he was only 8 yrs. old I think ?
ANOTHER SINGER IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD KNOWN AS MUTYA BUENA A PROFESSIONAL SINGER IN ENGLAND.

KABA MODERN IS A AMERICAN DANCE CREW 2008 AS A 3RD PLACER IN THIS COMPETITION THEY ARE ASIAN GROUP TOO. BUT THE MOST STRIKING STORY IS KABA IS ORIGINALLY DERIVED FROM THE WORD KABABAYAN !!!
