1. Free,who had their 1st international hit in 1969 (6 years before your were born), became Bad Co....the only thing riding the tails of Boston, Journey & Foreigner, were their boyfriends.
2. Your knowledge of Aussie history mirrors your knowledge of international rock bands. As far as weapon making goes, it's the US Forces needing help, given that they had their arses kicked out of 'Nam by a peasant army led in the later stages by women...and then there's EYERACK.

You're mostly correct about BadCo, but it might be more accurate to say that BadCo was a marriage of Free and Mott the Hoople; a big catalyst to the formation of the band was the Mick Ralphs songs, "Can't Get Enough", "Movin' On", and "Ready For Love",(previously recorded by MTH). In any case, BadCo were clearly influenced by Hendrix and Cream. Neat trick for Boston, Journey or Foreigner to influence BadCo, since Badco already had two monster albums out before those bands even had contracts.

You do kinda have a point, Bad Company had a commercial sound(arena rock)of the 70's. They were obviously trying to sell to the masses,and rake in money. That's why they get played on the radio,...commercial music sucks. The real musicans dont get played on the radio. By the way, Angry Anderson would eat Paul Rodgers alive! lol

Saw them in concert Friday Night at the Hard Rock with a real good friend. We had free tickets from a friend of ours. They were fantastic. I stared at Paul all night.

Great! Never saw this footage before. He's still sounding better than ever and looking really good too! If he ever comes to your town, GO! He does indeed Rock Steady! I caught him a couple months ago and it was the best show I've seen in years!
