Ya it's probably 1975. I think 1978 was later but kudos to Don Cornellious because He recognize true soul music from a Purta Rican singer who mixed Spanish in order to reveal his culture and Soul !!!!!!

Oh yeah, Jose Feliciano...man he is too good. Listen to that soul, God. I love this cat because he plays and sings with his whole being. Forget Latin Soul, human soul is what's coming through.
What I have always loved about Jose Feliciano, is that when you hear him, you know automatically without even seeing his face, who it is. His sound is that unique. He's never sounded better. I grew up listening to him and he's another big influence of mine. Eso es. Peace.
