n 1971 average wages were 250$ a week an average home was 18.000$ today in 2007 an average home is 250.000$ and an average weekly salary is around 350$. this is a blue print for massive homelessness, and democratic politicians wont tackle these issues because, well, they created them! Inflation means poverty nomadism and starvation and economic growth is what causes it.. ever see any candidate face this one? no wayz

the problem with economic growth is that it causes rising of inflation on housing, food, transport and power,and radicaly rises the cost of living, growth & inflation paves the way to mass poverty of the middle class income workers , Rising inflation is the cause of societal poverty and homelessness, so i dare any citizen to question politicians in a debate on why they wont and dont promise to abolish housing inflation.

I think EDWARDS is the most legitimately positive candidate, with a proven record of fighting and winning for the disenfranchised. And I think that he has only spoken the truth in taking down the legacy-juggernaut that is Hillary. I hope he is on the ticket, and I have recently donated to his campaign.

JOHN is so awesome in answering questions. Watch him in the debates - Search "edwards debate sc" or other states like NH or NV. He hits home run after home run because he is so in touch with reality and is above the silly squabbling that the OTHER two candidates are about.

My problem so far with all the dems is that they have this endless list of what the government should be doing for people. You need to realize that EVERYTHING you get as a service costs$. All the while $ is the real issue that affects everyone. A president can change far more by example than by law. If there is one task that stands head and shoulders above, it is reducing government. Min wage, HA, work for yourself, I do, and I dont make minimum wage.

Some of these people have neither the means nor the education to get a job to boost them into the middle class. The goal is to help be ABLE to achieve it, not do it for them. So get off your high horse, and don't judge people you don't know.

Help the poor? Apparently you don't read the bible. Do lazy people exist? Of course. But the vast majority of poor people are those with psychological problems, alcoholism, and other barriers that prevent them from climbing the ladder. It's a good thing most people don't think the same way you do. Get your master's degree in public policy and get the facts about poverty. Although I suppose you'd be too lazy to do that.

Why would you ever give a driver's license to illegal aliens?
Recently four children lost their lives in Minnesota to an illegal alien using a false identity. This illegal alien drove a van into the side of a school buss taking the lives of four young children. As seen on the news, this illegal has no remorse for her actions. As thousand of other illegal
aliens, this one has taken a false identity to hide her true one.
