I was just given birth into the martial arts community a a week ago, and I can not get enough of it, I am practicing muay thai, and today I am going to start BJJ, I have heard that BJJ is the greatest martial art out there.

There is no greatest martial art, it all depends on how it individually fits you. But MT and BJJ is a great combination

Bjj is good if you go to the ground, but you can get knocked out in 1 second! The five styles I learn teach knock outs on the ground! How are going to choke me out when I can get out of it? Its great for the dojo but lacks real effiveness in real time situations.
If you cant gain contral of a fight in two to three seconds you have lost contral of the situation!

if you are jumped by 4 guys and you are rolling around with one trying to choke him or her out. do you think the other 3 guys are gonna sit there and watch. when i see BJJ beat 3-5 people at the EXACT same time then its time to say that. with other styles at least there is a chance even if its not a good one

you claim to say that you could get out of a choke! So i would guess that you are a proffesional fighter! have you fought in ufc! i doubt it cause you would clearly get choked out or knocked out! all "real" mixed martial arts practicioners actually practice bjj to become well rounded fighters!to be a one Dimensional fighter is ineffective! also learn how to type correctly, control is not spelled contral! it sounds like you need some control in your spelling!

bjj is designed not to only submit a opponent one on one! but to incorporate it with other techniques beccause most one on one fights usually wind up on the ground. if youactually being on a real street fight with 2 or 3 guys they usually throw you on the floor then trie to pound you to the ground. so the question is what happens when 3 opponents throw you on the ground, what will you do?

Joselopez112 I learn the best techniques of Ryukyu Kenpo , Kyusho jitsu ,Small circle jujitsu , modern Arnis, and many other styles. I have learned many effective techniques for getting out of those BJJ chokes, take downs, and so on. I was a Bouncer for a year in a biker bar. One out of eight fights went to the ground. Who told you most fights go the ground, your BJJ teacher? The only time I was on the ground was in sixth grade! I am not a MMA fighter. I work at Bars/fight for fun.

U.F.C. and M.M.A fighters have rules to go Buy. That means that you cant use a lot of other martial arts techniques! Kyusho means 1 second fight, that means fast effective knock outs with no bullshit . Two facts that most people do not know, any kick above the waist is in affective and a waste of energy! You don t rotate your hand 90 degrees when punching, only 45 degrees. A 90 degree punch is wasting energy. its a good way to brake your for arm bones! Sounds like you cant think for your self

why dont you post a video of how effective your technique is! since you are a great master and all! prove the world wrong and videotape your technique against a Mixed Martial Arts practicioner! lets see who is superior!? tell me where it is you train out of!? i am really ding to see how flawless your technique is! i am also willing to go down to where you train and have a one on one fight! while video taping it then post it on youtube!

If you know how to read i said that usually when fighting against multiple opponents they will usually throw you on the ground to have an advantage over you! Me being from new york city not from a small town where youre from ive had my fair share of street fights and they usually i repeate usually wind up on the ground while the guy is covering up trying not to get kicked on the head! you clearly have no experience fighting in the ring or in the streets!

that is why you dont see shaolin techniques in MMA! it is true not everyone can be taken down to the ground especially if they know how the ground game works thats where MMA comes in when you cant be taken down to the ground then go for the striking!
