| Actually, The Koran is the only scripture on the planet which has not been changed, not one word of it. How cna we be against Shariah law when that is what our religion comprises of. Yes, the Shariah law is from 2000 years ago, but its implications can be changed to match today's world. Why is it hard to belive that Islam does teach everything people practice? There are extremists in every religion, and no religion teaches violence or to hate. So why Islam any different? |

| Islam which is what I am trying to defend. Not everybody treats Muslims differently but some do. You know that no country has ever been able to folloe Shariah law completely because do not know how to live in moderation. They either are too strict or too lenient with it. |

| I strongly disagree with you when you say there are religions who teach violence. All religions teach you to be a good human being and to do righteous deeds. Since my religion doesn't allow me to criticize or hate against the religons of other I am not going to, but I think Islam in the Western world is severly misunderstood. |

| There is no such thing as circumcision for women in Islam. I have never heard of it. There is no sense in that. It is strictly meant for male babies. The multiple wives thing is not what you think. You CANNOT wake up one morning and decide to marry four different girls (which is the maximum). Ploygamy was initially meant to support women whose husbands had died in wars, and they had no where to go. |

| Most people beleive that the Bible has not been changed either. And besides of what I think, I think the Bible is ritcher in the scriptures than the Koran. I find it more explicit and holly. Jesus dedicated his life to spread the word of God while Muhammed had wife, kids, wanted the jews dead, gave so many laws that Jesus was against. Jesus taught love, real love, like love your enemies. | Today plogyamous marriages are intended to support divorcees, widows, women who have been raped or any other woman who has been shunned by society for anything similar. You simply cannot bring a woman into your home. People will accuse you for having a mistress which is why you marry them. | They have to sign a consent form and if they don't then too bad for the husband. The point is it's not even supposed to happen nowadays because women are educated and can support themselves. Back then it was different. The law is still there just in case. The ones that do get married for a second time nowadays do it for their own enjoyment. You cannot call that Islam. | Have you even read the Koran? I am Muslim and even I don't understand it. You have to sit down and read not only its meaning but its whole interpretation. What is wrong with having a wife and kids? He was setting an example for the rest of the world. That you can live a life like everybody else and still serve God. You don't have to be 100% devoted to praying, fasting etc. |
