Paris was a rare no show, (apparently due to illness) there.
Suffice to say that on the 13th on the same month, the full SG, FNM, GNR (In that order, if memory serves) was back for the UK tour where I saw them at Wembley.

I remember watching this on PPV. This was my first exposure to anything Seattle. I almost couldn't listen to them, because here I was thinking GNR was heavy.. thinking back on it now, SG was much tighter, Chris sang much clearer, and Thayil, Shepherd, and Cameron laid it down waaay heavier than anything GNR ever did. GNR was trying to be all the things that came naturally to SG.
