i'd disagree with crackerbash, but dead moon were awesome. check out napalm beach, as well. greg sage produced 'rock and roll hell' and he also produced their songs on 'trap sampler'. awesome stuff. and if you're in portland, check out zeno, they're at NE 8th & burnside. steve plouf runs the place. cool goddamn store. tell him john in charlotte sent you!

love this song... one of the first wipers tracks i ever heard, along with "so young" from the same LP, "youth of america", and "d-7"... those 4 songs got me hooked.

I got into the Wipers after hearing Youth Of America back in 86, on the back of a "psychedelic revival" which they had nothing to do with, but my God, that hallucinatory soundscape, like a whole country being sucked through a wormhole. Genius. Doom Town is a desolately beautiful song.
