Every OS has it's advantages and disadvantages.
Windows has shit-loads of viruses and is the least stable, but it works with just about every piece of hardware and software.
Linux has almost zero viruses (infect billions of Windows PC's or the few Linux PC's?), has beautiful visual effects (Compiz Fusion), and is incredibly stable, but not muc h works with it.
Mac has better compatibility than Linux, although with more viruses. Mac also cannot compare visually (watch?v=bvnQE1EAEZY).
