Leedsboy13 - every time you think of your dad I can assure you that he does know that you love him - his spark, the energy that was him will never be lost to you - for when it is your time - you will return to join his as well as others of you family to the stars from where we all came from - the energy is as I say is never lost but transfered - you will not find this in a book but in your heart - death is only hard on the living if you let it - God Bless, keep his spark alive in your heart...

my son was kinda lucky i guess u can say. he got to say goodbye and told his dad how much he loved him b4 he passed away with cancer at the young age of 52. my son was 15 at the time and still misses his dad deeply. a very moving and touching song

Dad died 21 years ago Saturday (6/14). I think of him yet every day. I did get to say good-bye, but I sure wish I could talk to him today.

Same here... I too was fortunate to have been by my dad's bedside in the hospital and talk to him the night he passed away. It's been almost three years already and can only imagine what 21 years must feel like for you. I do believe they are still with us, but now in spiritual form.
