Jazzmutant Lemur + DBlue Glitch

I finally got the MIDI working on this thing and the first thing I wanted to do was to wire up the Glitch to a panel on it. This patch took me about half an hour to create - this is my first attempt to play it. It's late - I should be asleep!

of course you get more controll because its multitouch and you have 10 fingers an only one mousearrow ... thats the point of this device, and i meant to takachiado that the lemur dont makes any sound its like a midi master keyboard ...

I'd love to try one out but I'm not convinced yet it will be better than the far cheaper control surface I already have. This wasn't a critism directed at yourself.

yeah agree ... it cant be better than an actual interface where you have real knobs instead of touchscreen interface ... i think the lemur lies between working with mouse and display and working with a real control interface

cool touch screen. thing is, this could work in a completely different way from a midi interface with a bunch of knobs. you could use it to draw on a 2d plane. or ya know, lotsa stuff.

It won't give you more control. But I think because you can have a totally different screen for each plug/program it makes things visually clearer...and it certainly looks fun.

No you can't Lemur is multitouch w/ custom user designed interfaces regular touch screens arn't designed to be used that way.

I've tried touch screens, & a mouse is FASTER. U can put the sensitivity so high U cross the screen in an inch. & if U want 'simultaneous-multi-touch', U can assign keys of your keyboard... DUH!!! My god you're lame. This thing is 'studio bling' - nothing more. It does NOTHING U can't do faster & cheaper 4 free. Wise up

Also check electronics recycling places, because last batch of touch screen CRTs I got in went straight 2 the dump! :)) I get a lot of trade-ins, & none of the 'sheep' these days like CRT! I mean, sure never mind that the picture & speed is infinitely better on a good CRT than N E flat screen variant - it's all about the 'latest greatest' HAHA

I tried touch-screen & it's actually slower than just using a key-assigning proggy with the mouse. Like U can use yer' keyboard as drum trigger & stuff, & mouse 2 control volume & pan - cool cool!

u can make graphics and ur own faders and knobs inside lemur? i ve heard they provide u with the "workflow optimized interface editor".
is this what u ve used to make this patch for GLITCH? or u have used 3rd party applications like Maxmsp? Please let me know cauz i am about to get one for sure if u can optimize it ur own easily using its own editor... thanx in advance
