Why do I see so many comments excusing this performance? She was HIRED to perform at the VMA Awards. That means she was expected to do a good job, and she failed. She did a horrible, horrendous job. Are you honestly telling me that if you hired someone to fix your car, and they did a shitty job, you'd excuse it because they did a great job once upon a time? Britney could have saved herself during the 3 minutes she was on stage, and she failed to do it. I'd chalk it up to sheer unprofessionalism.

she is not fat in this video but she still should not have worn that revealing outfit because it did not flatter her at all! her figure is pretty amazing especially after having 2 kids! but i admit, her performance was really bad. but i'm not going to make fun of her, i just feel sorry for her because of the crappy life she has made for herself. i just hope that she will get it together and find faith in God.

Horrible performance, but I do feel sorry for the poor girl. She has brought a lot of her problems onto herself yes, but people can't always see/help that. I'm not a fan, used to be as a child, but since then my idea of music has changed. Everyone has an opinion on her these days anyways. She'll make her comeback in time and it will be great to see her back on her feet. More time is needed for her to sort out her life. I think media should leave her alone for a while, poor Britney.
