its about the song. he destroyed the song. dream theater covered song song cemetary gates and in a cover you shold be nearly do the song like the band that wrote it. dave played his first riff very exact and then he shredded the solo , there was no melody, just fuckin shredd. it hurt to hear how such a great guitarrist can just destroy such a very nice melody. its my opinion. i liked dimebags solos because he played them mostly melodic, other guitarist shredded because it was easier for them.

okay well to all those that complain about mustaine butchering the solo you should probably listen to a better band in the first place, dreamtheater sucks ass the singers blow, portnoy's kit serves no actual purpose and dave has more talent in his left nut than this entire band put together, all in all they should stick to their own shitty material
