Bush signed an unconstitutional agreement with Paul Martin (Canadian Prime Minister) and Vincent Fox (Mexican President) that would merge the United States, Mexico & Canada into a single entity called the North American Union. I think that people will accept whatever the government tells them to. We've been groomed for martial law with increasing government intervention into our daily lives. The Patriot Act allows government to willfully and gleefully violate the constitution at every turn and to spy on law-abiding Americans. If anything, the world is a lot more volatile and dangerous place, since the New World Order of globalism began to rear its ugly head. Now we have conflicts raging around the globe in the name of peacekeeping. Free trade agreements are bankrupting developed and developing nations alike. Nationalism was often a good thing, keeping the focus on internal affairs, kept it off policing the world and running up huge moral and economic debts.
