| Democrats have tried. Bush and the Republicans managed to stop many of their efforts. On another note, you cannot expect too much from neither Obama or Clinton considering they are campaigning. This is why we should do something to prevent candidates from campaigning TWO years before Election Day. It sickens me that candidates start campaigning that early. My big fear is that in the future, campaigns will begin even earlier than that... |

| I don't think it's worth stopping the campaigning, that would be impossible without infringing on basic rights. But what pisses me off about the Dems is that they slam Bush (he deserves it) on getting out of Iraq, but their foreign policy platform would put us in many battles, including alot of UN missions. I really think they are inconsistent with war issues, just as the Republicans are. Remember, Bush wouldn't shut up in the 2000 elections about NO nation building. |

| Okay I'm a conservative and a war veteran and I'm voting Republican... but I must say that I agree with the Democrats about my fellow vets. It breaks my fucking heart to know that 200,000 of my brothers and sisters in arms are homeless, and the wounded are definitely not helped enough. If Democrats win, don't forget to honor the military and the veterans with the care and the support that they need and deserve. |
