| God I love singing..Been practicing for years..Ill never gain acceptance..I hope I do but people do not understand.They are used to a certain tone quality that is heard in popular western music.Man they give me a hard time.but Im glad to see another person doing this.I love all sorts of singing Blues, scat, I like Singing that is organic.I appreciate the standard popular sound also.but I like to be free to experiment with different textures in my voice. | Polyphonic Music I cant believe how critical and narrow minded people can be. I wish I was immune to that...People think using different textures in singing is silly because it reminds them of cartoon voices...also it is so far away from the average persons socially acceptable conversational tone quality..But the human voice has amazintg potential to crerate a myriad of different sounds and I think people should use this and experiment with it more and try to maintain a certain seriousness.. |

| That is a rather special way of singing and needs a lot of practicing. Some nations (Tibetians, Mongolians etc) use it a lot. I have heard it is like meditating. Liberating. |
