It was on Junior Choice wih Ed Stewpot Stewart most weekends in the late 60's and 70's. I remember being in a bus going to Hampden for a scotland v England football match around 1974. When 'Stewpot' played this at around 8am the whole busload creased with laughter joining in and we were still laughing ages after the song finished.....in fact we were laughing most of the day when I think of it...Scotland 2 England 0.

Great song..not heard it since I was a kid. It was played on Junior Choice Radio1/2 in the early 70's quite often. Hands up,who thinks it should be released???

don't have much of a sense of humour now, do they..as they tote their submachine guns wearing the black (not blue) of the executioner, combat boots, stab vests, reinforced visors, leather kneepads, loooong batons that are very easily to hand if they decide to just put you in a coma instead of cut you in two with bullets? Not that they ever were jolly...all that dixon of dock green stuff was just propaganda as the police & hospital dramas of today are..check the audio at the bottom of my profile
