Fernando is very talented, but a rookie has essentialy gotten the better of him, favoritism is a cop out with the the money that Ron Dennis wasted on Fernando he would not be stupid enough to hamper him in any way shape or form. If you listen to Alonso's and Briatore's comments they wanted favoritism not equality. He probably got that treatment at Renault as he was managed by Flavio.
