Een nieuwe Numark iPodmixer en h
é, een nieuwe uitpakster! Miriam stelt zich voor met haar beste scratchen, pitchen, faden en beats. 'Everybody happy?' Met de eerste iDJ van Numark had je nog twee iPods nodig om te kunnen mixen. Niet zo praktisch. Bij de iDJ2 heb je er nog maar één nodig. De mixer was al een tijd geleden aangek
ondigd maar is nu eindelijk verkrijgbaar, net op tijd voor de feestdagen. Er passen trouwens ook usb-sticks in en je kunt er een harde schijf op aansluiten.

Can someone please translate what Mason said about the IDJ2...

Mason says: "I'm a dj, and I play records... ok, so in here I have to put the IPod. We're gonna listen to the audio bullys. Is this the play button? It's quite cool that this thing has a pitch, most of the Ipod mixers don't have one. Ok, this song to the other side. Ok, first I had to discover which fader is the pitch, which fader is the music.

Mason: "Sound is down below here. Things like the bass, mid, treble are up here in the corner... I have to get use to that, because normally that above the fader. But it's more easy than I expected. I actually would like to make another mix, is that ok? It's really fun... I'm gonna make another mix." Cameraman: "You can also put in a usb stick instead of an Ipod. So you can switch between tracks quite fast."

The Maker: "Now ofcours we would like to know, can you mix together with the usb stick AND the Ipod at the same time." Mason: "Yes, that's possible. Now it opens ubs 1... The Maker: "Mike it's amazing! Where can I order this?" Mason: Now it's importing... Oh here you can sync. You make mistakes quite easily. When you put on the scratch, and you want to turn up the speed.. you lose it quite easily, it glides away. Cameraman: Conclusion? Mason: I like it... it's a nice toy to play with.

Mason: It's quite special that you can mix with a ubs stick AND with an Ipod at the same time. But I don't think it's a gear for professinal clubs. They stick to what they have, you have more options. Miriam: Would you dare to take it to a club? He's perfect for party's at home, bars, student party's. And other places where they care less about beatsyncing. Miriam: Ok, time for a house party, Champagne! Mason: Then I first would like to practice more. I would dare to take him to an empty club!
