Video Description:
Shot in 1997 by indie filmmaker Rick Madsen, this 36 min documentary filmed during the recording of the Modest Mouse album "The Lonesome Crowded West" will never be released commercially. Artists interviewed for the film include Elliott Smith, Spencer Moody from The Murder City Devils, Doug Martsch of Built To Spill, Sam Coombs of Quasi and Calvin Johnson.

thats not really old, though, but i do agree. its like modest mouse's dark side of the moon. so spacey and original. but their old stuff is so raw and honest. and their new just so BIG and intense. yet musical.

no way.... tim robbins is a dumb actor. The guy from counting crows was in a number one band. And they're music is a lot more tolerable now that it's not on the radio every two seconds. They actually have some nice songs. Back when this was made though it was probably really embarrassing to say you liked the counting crows.

Quasi.... Now there's a band that didn't get the attention it deserved. I saw them awhile back and they completely destroyed War Pigs by Sabbath with only a keyboard and an organ. It was a sick ass show, and they had an amazing sound for only 2 people.
