| Are you one of those who say The Pistols were manufactured?I myself bought this single and i thought The Jam were a good band but with Paul Wellers original interest in soul and Beatles music they looked a bit odd.Great music all the same but thats bollocks about riff stealing. |

| The Jam weren`t a punk band though were they and anything they did wasn`t even nearly as good as The Pistols.They jumped on the punk bandwagon like The Stranglers did.Although they were a lot better than them. |

| the pistols only had one album though. maybe the followup could have been shit. what the clash and the jam had was variety in their music. they threw in a bit of soul a bit of reggae. the pistols songs all sounded the same. i prefer the jam and the clash but i do like the pistols and wish they would have made another album. i read about an album by them that came before bollocks called 'spunk' lol never heard it though. |
