Sorry here goes the correct version:He is really a genius but I would ask you,Ladies and Gentleman who drive in the United States of America...Is this a joke or a funny fact?What really happens?A driver really can turn right while the traffic light is red?If that's true,how can a driver avoid the car coming from your left, since it is on a much higher speed?Is this funny or phony?

It's true. You can turn right on red. But you do have to stop and make sure there are no cars coming, otherwise you do get hit. But if there are no cars coming, then you can just go ahead and turn. =)

Thank you Meeseeater,for the polite answer,but if I can trespass the red light to turn right,what difference would it make if I just go on straight away...after all to turn right the vehicle wold be much slower than it did if it went straight forward,with more possibilities of getting hit.If it applies I might as well go forward if no car is coming and if it does I simply accelerate and pray.

lol! I suppose you could if you really wanted to, but it is considered running the red light. And, if you turn right you only have to look out for one direction of traffic coming toward you, if you go straight you have to look out for two, which gives you more chance of getting hit.

I was tihinking about one way roads.
Please don't tell anyone but here in Brazil we do the same,as long as it's very late and there is no traffic.And we do stop to look and listen.Thank you for the information!!!

they bag your groceries in large stores here in poland, we have drive throughs, AND when there's a red light, on the right most lane you can turn right because there's a little green arrow there. so, funny clip, but not totally accurate.

When I went to England years ago,someone told me I should avoid putting two fingers up when asking for beers,or anything inside a pub...I asked:"Do I have to order three beers to avoid being punched?"...In fact he told me I can put two fingers up,as long as I show the back of my hand...go figure...culture and its differences.
