This has been a big concern of mine. I'm an American male who does NOT support what the US has been doing in Afghanistan and Iraq. In 2001, one of the big "selling points" about going after Osama Bin Laden included taking power away from the Taliban, who were cruel to women and would not allow them to be educated. (They even televised a film of a woman who was executed for laughing in public.) I cannot excuse Bush and Cheney, but those images were disturbing to me. Thank you for discussing it.

--Cont'd--- We should remember that not everyone in Afghanistan is Taliban, there are other notorious leaders in different places who carry out such activities. Lets not be biased, and put everything that happens around the world on them. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, had an Islamic Law implemented. Nowhere in that law, a women can be executed for laughing in public.

I agree entirely on what her Majesty says. Though I'm male, and a U.S citizen, I agree with this video and its morals: Lock, stock and barrel. Though I'm also Christian, I respect those of the Islamic faith, its just the Terrorists who I don't respect. What they do isn't faith, it's killing innocent people.

Women don't have equal rights as men yet. That's right, and that's been this way since the beginning of time. I'm all for equal rights, especially in those countries were women gey supressed and treated unfair in every possible brutal way. Us men, have to be the first ones to realize this. Women did not have equal rights in Ancient Greece. Women were not allowed to vote, and depending on what time period you are referring to, were not even allowed out of the house! They also did not have the right to choose whom they would marry. So please, tell me, how is that equal rights?
