Introducing the AFS Trinity XH-150™ Extreme Hybrid™ SUV 150 Miles Per Gallon It looks like an SUV, it hauls like an SUV, But that's where the similarities end. The XH-150 is a plug-in hybrid electric car, With performance that surpasses comparable gas cars. This is not a concept car. It
's on the road now. And it won't be long before you can own one. We have to stop sacrificing blood and treasure for oil. And we should stop converting our food supply to fuel. Spending half a trillion dollars on hydrogen gas stations just doesn't make sense. Especially when there is more than en
ough electricity, even if all our cars were plug-ins. What seemed impossible has just been done. Look for "Powered by Fast Energy™". It's a sign that something great is happening. The AFS Trinity XH-150 150 Miles Per Gallon. Just Plug It In. ---------- Find out more at http://www.afstrinity.com

I knew you couldn't ... ( 8 months ago by D41H4T5U)
I knew you couldn't take it. When people are wrong or can't face the truth, they just swear like a schoolchild, quite amusing really... BTW i don't want to suck a dick cheers, i am not gay, why don't you go buy a decent car from japan, italy, germany, sweden, france anywhere in fact apart from the USA. They can't build cars, just cheap, mass produced, under-egineered, powerless, crudely built, heavy, old fashioned tanks that cant even do 40 MPG, never mind take a corner without rolling over. lol

This car is both ... ( 8 months ago by vboi423)
This car is both good and bad, the bad part is you have to plug it into a socket when you get home. Where do you find a socket? Your home! Yup, so how much energy does it take to fill that battery that can go 30+ miles on electricity alone? I think I proved my point, this vehicle is a plot, it wants you to think it's good because it saves loads of gas but you forget it still need electricity from your HOUSE. That means higher electric bill!
vboi423 - okay true ... ( 8 months ago by chrispalasz)
vboi423 - okay true, but balance that with the fact that these hydrogen-electric cars don't pollute and BAM - you have a slam dunk. Even if the cost to charge it each night ends up equaling the amount of money you'd normally spend on gas - which would be the WORST case scenario - you still are making the morally wiser choice. If America - the world's leading polluter, switched to pollution free cars? WOW - totally worth it. Hands down.
True and I do agree ... ( 8 months ago by vboi423)
True and I do agree 100% BUT you still have to think about the consumer market! They aren't going to want vehicles that get 0-60 in times that took the old vehicles to get 140! Think about street racers, they aren't going to make the switch. Heck, even my grandma (in her late 60s) doesn't want to get anything lower then her 275HP Northstar V8 that she has regardless if it has way more mileage and is better for the air. These cars need more getup and style to appeal to the consumer, or they fail.
They'll make the ... ( 8 months ago by chrispalasz)
They'll make the switch if the older generation makes the switch, causing the number of gas stations to eventually dwindle. ;) Anyway - hopefully... all good things in time.
It's not all about ... ( 8 months ago by lawnmowerdude)
It's not all about money vboi423, it seam that the only way a lot of people do any thing evromently friendly is if it only save them money, that sad. Electricity can be made way easer than gasoline; I'm not saying gasoline is bad I'm just saying views are misguided.
I'm already over ... ( 8 months ago by vboi423)
I'm already over the money part and I understand the benefit to Hybrids but the fact still remains, people aren't going to want slow cars! Styling wise yeah they are nice, I mean the Altima Hybrid looks just like the Altima and same for the Vue and Aura. Yes, I agree it is better for the environment bla bla bla but again peopel are not gonna want slow cars that they have to plug up, what if someone lived in an apartment building?! No Plug!!

We should all make ... ( 7 months ago by ruckrover8)
We should all make our next new car purchase an extreme hybrid.
Think about it - Oil is a finite precious resource. Civilization and the global economy probably will need oil/petroleum/gasoline for centuries to power airplanes and ships, and for big mining and agriculture machinery. To just burn it up in oversize internal combustion engine cars/SUVs/Hummers
is stupid and will soon be seen to be immoral. Electric vehicles are fast as well.
The electric power ... ( 5 months ago by BestTimesNow)
The electric power grid and generation capacity is designed for peak loads. Normally this peak is the in the daytime, on the hottest day of the year. Electric cars will be plugged in at night, which is off peak. The existing power plants can produce the power to charge electric cars at night. This is another reason why the plug-in electric hybrid makes so much sense.
According to the US ... ( 5 months ago by diggingforgold)
According to the US Department of Energy: "No additional capacity would be required for even a massive penetration of PHEV if even modest attempts were made to optimize system charging. Simple time-of-day charging could easily place all end-of-day charging requirements into off-peak periods. Utility-controlled charging would create additional net benefits in terms of utilization of existing plants." In other words, charge at night (when you normally would anyway), and no new plants are needed.
It never ceases to ... ( 4 months ago by GSpotter63)
It never ceases to amaze me how successful the big oil companies are at spreading there propaganda and miss information. They know that if the general public fully understood how much simpler and cheaper it is to deliver elec. for transportation instead of fuel, we would all switch over. Suddenly they would have nothing to sell us, and that for them could mean there demise.
How do you charge ... ( 4 months ago by bearnurse1)
How do you charge the car at night if you don't have a garage or carport, as in you live in a condo with a parking space far from the condo or you have to park on the street?
