'religion should have nothing to do with the constitution of any organization'..accordinc to Islamic creed, wich u claim u believe in, and wich contains the vast majority of this country, it has everything to do with it. the problem is, religon has nothing to do with the current constitution of this organisation, so u obviously cant blame any religion for the country's backwardness.

I have to disagree with you, you need to read over the constitution of Egypt, Art.2 "Islam is the Religion of the State. Arabic is its official language, and the principal source of legislation is Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia)" I do not blame religion for anything, however i am searching for the main cause. Look into the constitution of any civilized country and tell me if they mention religion...

under the sort of government we have now, i dont think religion has ANYTHING to do with us not being civilised, no matter what any article of the constitution says, considering that the current organisation lacks any sort of 'organisation' in the first place, in whatever sort of interst concerning the country. calling egypt uncivilised sounds kinda redundant anyway, under the current government.

Alright, so it is indeed the government we have now (and had for the past 26 years) that is responsible for Egypt being an uncivilized country. However, the point is what does having religion in the constitution add to it, even if it is a religion as beautiful and meaningful as Islam? Especially in a country where Muslims and Christians are living side by side.

muslims n christians have been living together peacfuly for centuries, under islamic rule. u c thers a diference between us and the west,their focus is on, and ONLY on,ANIMALISTIC development.on the other hand,middle eastern societies have cultures and beliefes wich put HUMANITARIAN developments ahead of the animalistic ones,even though bothe are asked for n required.this is what islam brings into the pic,a society of the highest moral values possible,without prejudice based on race or religion.
