Im going to straght everyone out, it was a late modle 95 jeep cherokee with the 4.0 inline 6. The tib was an 04 gtv6 6speed, he hasnt had the car that long in this vid and it was his first standard car, so the shifting, well, you heard and saw whats happen. we were both riding 3 deep. he had two
girls, we had me and another friend in the backseat...

yes it was just a joke race, in reality, if he was realy pushing his car then, he would have left us, but im not going to lie, that jeep when he had it was faster than you think, it realy was torquey.
*now then* lets get up to date. the driver of the jeep has a 06 gti, yes the tib and him raced again when he got it, but the tib had a header back exhaust with no cats. (greddy evo 2) catback the gti was stock, they both weight about the same, and with the exhaust, they around the same.

the tib got him on the jump everytime, but the gti was just alittle quicker in topend, only because it was turboed.. the gti aventually got a stage 2 ecu, full 3" exhuast from the downpipe back, and a injen cai. (he took the parts off and sold them)(so its stock again) if the gti would have race
d the tib with those parts, it woulda destroyed him, he hit 163 in the gti, and left off... the guy in the back now drives a 03 350z 6speed, invidia catback and popcharger...

and as for me, the camera man, i have a '90 rx-7 gxl with a s5 turbo II motor and trans swap.
which is running 11 lbs. of boost.. oh yeah haha, the gti peaked 22 lbs with the ecu upgrade =D it was insane lol, talk about boost creak =] he ran neck and neck with my friends Z when the Z was stock. but, i drive a 99 eclipse gs 5speed for a dailey driver, and i take the rx7 out on the weeken
