| As have been said before, John wrote the core of all the stuff John and Graham put together, whereas Graham came up with some weird twist to take the sketch to a second level. Now I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Chapman came up with the abuse thing (look, can't he go to the wrong room first and get insulted like hell?) and furthermore, I think that part is exactly one of those things who add that extra twist. Without it this would have been an ok sketch but hardly a classic. And YES it is! |

| michael palin and terry jones wrote allot of skits too. terry gilliam came up with the animated skits, and did a majority of the directing. all of them helped to create the skits i dont think you can credit any one of them without giving credit to all of them. |

| Of course, I didn't meen that Gray deserved sole credit for this sketch, I just see it as a good example of those weird ideas he came up eith, which hardly ever made up the framework for a sketch but added that extra flavour that often made the difference between something good and something great. But of course you're right in that this is very much the result of a teamwork. They did however have very different ways of working out their material. |
