Kockos please take your negativity elsewhere because nobody on here is really interested in what YOU THINK my dad may or may not have been involved in! Drugs comes with the lifestyle most of the time so if you dont want to say anything positive as to how many albums he made or your favourite hits then please refrain from even posting a comment. Most people on here have left messages about how they loved him and his music touched so many lives and all you can focus on is his drug addiction?

Nadene you are so correct. Probably Kockos was supply Dennis with the drugs, since he knows that he was doing it. I hate people who make assumptions. People should just enjoy his beautiful voice and refrain from making assumptions.

It baffles the mind that, Dennis, as you say was addicted to cocaine and I have seen him in concerts a number of times and he has always performed flawlessly. If you have nothing constructive to say about Dennis, just leave him the hell alone.

Missqueenie6911, I agree with ever word you have said. Dennis Brown should have been crowned the "KING". Reggae just does not have the same flavor that it had when Dennis was around. I just keep watching his videos over and over again. Wish he was still here with us.

uummm Dennis Brown was addicted to cocaine listen to the chorus in the song If I had the World he says it as plain as day about his drug use...now I LOOOOOOOOVE D Brown but noone is perfect! Also, it was because of his drug use that eventually killed him.....he went into cardiac arrest!

yes - he was on drugs...no one is disputing that but dennis brown died from complications from pneumonia. people try to be very hush about the fact that he had HIV, unfortunately. Some people say his lungs "may" have collapsed from cardiac arrest due to his drug use b/c they rather admit to him having that since at that time HIV was sooo taboo (especially in JA)...but we know seh nuttin nuh go suh...it was complications from pneumonia. that's why his lungs collapsed!
