Another titans battle between the lovely ladies Tarja and Anette. I think in this video it's pretty much 50/50 but still, I prefer Tarja's voice.
This video was not made with the intent of feeding the "war" going on with this new Nightwish situation. Made just for fun.

I would have to agree seems like Anette is more pop and I don't really like that, don't get me wrong Bye bye Beautiful is a good song but not like any of there old stuff with Tarja, her voice is beautiful. OH well what can ya do

Nightwish with Tarja was opera,goth,metal ... with Anette its a mix of rock, pop, metal I like them both but there are many bands like the new nightwish, none thats like the old ... kinda sad isnt it?

I like Tarja more than Anette, because I thin tarja is a better singer than anette. But both are good PS: This Version of "Sleeping sun" is in my opinion not nice...the version on "Wishmaster" is much better

Anette has a very beautiful voice,especially for the eva song :D anyway tarja rocks too gotta say it...Can't choose really..Both of them are amazing...I guess I choose anette cuz i'm more into pop stuff but opera is okay to me

I love Anette's voice... i feel in her a deeply way to sing, she feels every note of the songs... that's why i prefer her Tarja's is a really good singer... but i don't feel that she's really feels the songs that she sings... i don't know... it's pretty weird xD

I think you can deffinitely tell that Tarja's was trained. The contrast to the more free/natural voice of Anette makes it all the more obvious.
It's impossible to prefere one to the other, unless you realy don't like one style. They are both excelent vocalists.
