1) let me get this straight - why would any sane person 'wannabe' Brittany? 2) Lynne was making great music before Brittany 'appeared' 3) Even to put the two names in proximity is idiotic - they're 'about' completely different 'things' (eg, Lynne is a bona fide, creative, evolving, talented singer/songwriter) 4) 'pop singer or supermodel' - again, idiotic - this is one video 5) While a promising young talent, Higgin's middle name could be 'EP' 6) Is your surname 'Higgins'?

haha, that's truly the best response that could have been written. Good job. It doesn't matter if you like Shelby Lynne or not (though you should, she's awesome), she should never be compared with Britney as they're 2 completely different artists. Different music, different talent, different everything.

Absolutely (see #3 below); that putting forth a connection was even thought worthwhile was absurd and could only be explained as a knee-jerk reaction devoid of any appreciation of what this artist, Shelby Lynne, is about. And thank God they're so different. Really, can any informed true music lover imagine Spears - or Missy Higgins for that matter - having the talent, vision, and sense of history to honor Dusty Springfield with an album of great covers, as Shelby recently did?

i love this song and artist. She's got real soul. The video is not right. looks like CSI/Miami meets Michael Mann? A better manager/director could have shown us her inner light...it speaks beyond the plastic walls.
