Although it isnt all there is to guitar I feel Clapton is the greatest solo-er of all time. Best living guitairst. Only behind Jimi Hendrix and Rory Gallagher-most underrated guitarist ever- overall.

Clapton did well to make this his own instead of copying all the others who have played this song. Sheryl crows vocal tone compliments Clapton's quite well.

Funny how when Clapton makes a Hendrix song his own, you call it butchering, yet when he does the same with Crossroads, Cocaine, and After Midnight, nobody says anything. Maybe you just have a sore spot for Hendrix?

God, after reading some of these comments, I've come to the conclusion that all musicians are total assholes. Stuck-up, bitter, egotistical, and completely set in their ways (the my way or the highway approach). I'd like to see any of you do half this good. Please, post some videos. Back up your word, cuz you seem to like to run your mouth so much. Maybe you should be practicing instead.

OK, no more comments. This unfortunately became like a mud where all people throw their most archaic feelings. This wonderful tool could be used as a place of gathering, intelligent conversation and knowledge interchanging, instead of just saying "hey, this is awesome, Clapton is god" or "this is crap. Bullshit". Not anymore. This pathetic carnival is over. Get yourselves a life.
