| They're two different type of artists. Sure, John Mayer started off with acoustic pop that isn't that amazing, but now he's respected as one of the best blues guitar players living. They're both great, but to brush musicianship like Mayer's off as a fad is just ignorant. He's an excellent songwriter and is equally if not more respected among music legends as Dave. |
