Charles here. You're probably right about the Wraths, but I had drawn all 4 by that point and he had seen 2 previously off of a Blackmaill, so I opted to pitch the 2 he'd seen in order to influence him to call another color (anything not White!) off of a future Persecute and rip out my last 2 Wraths. This plan worked, as he Persecuted shortly after for the wrong color and saw my two Wraths, but ultimately I was still left with too few answers, so...

You have a good point... I don't know why Justin didn't choose White, since the only answers you have to Akroma or Vampire are really Wrath and Condemn... but I mean with only Remand, anything he wants to resolve will eventually. Usually, when someone discards two of the same (very important) card off a C.R, it means they have more in hand. But congrats on T2.

I don't really mind video or commentary, although putting a few things (such as playtips or personal opinions) into the on-screen text would be nice when there's no commentary. Just wondering, am I the only one that misses the types of things before the Magic Show? Where he played games on MODO or MWS and gave his commentary? I always enjoy spectating games.

When Justin Persecuted blue why did Charles not just remand the persecute to net another card? If he knew he was going to discard it anyway I don't know why he didn't grab the other card

When you choose color for the persecute it has already resolved.. You have to counter the spell before he choose color..

he may have taken the 2 damage from the painlands to create lightning angel and wrote it down before he did it so he didnt have to do it later. anyway, good games! i hate lightning angel. i mortified one and then extirpated it and the guy was like "wow.....i give". ownage.

justin should have named, white with persecute, u don't conpulse then throw away 2x Wrath if u DON*T have ATLEAST 1 on ure hand, he had 2... but justin is the better player i agree.

If he remands the persecute the only gain he gets from it is a card draw. He has to worry about the probable persecute next turn which could possibly be another color choice that could hit the demonfire.
