Don't forget that you can put an inexpensive supercharger on a viper and get an easy 800hp, whereas the ZR1 is already supercharged and tuned to the near limit of it's durability.

Whatever, Viper is roughly equal in handling and performance to a porsche GT3. And what does engine size have to do with ANYTHING, it's about weight/power, the viper is lighter then euro cars with HALF the displacement.

Viper's weight/power ratio is better then every euro sports less then $500k Engine size is a stat that has NOTHING to do with actual performance--as long as you keep the weight down. It takes more skill to make a naturally aspirated engine fast then it does to add a turbo or supercharger! I'm just amazed that I have a car with an 8L V10 that weight only 3200lbs! what a platform!
