Walt would be furious with Disney Channel today. He once said, "I love the Nostalgic, myself. I hope we never lose some of the things of the past", and he also said, "I fully believe the animated picture will emerge as one of the greatest mediums, not only of entertainment but also of education".
Today neither Disney Channel, nor the producers have upheld those sayings. The Disney Legacy has gone to hell thanks to them.

i agree COMPLETLY with you KTChamerlain...im sooo unhappy with the way they are killing the classical movies, i love disney, i especialy love to draw them . Wouldnt that be the best job ever, i could do a life time of drawing them and the music. only to be alive back then .

Entertainment sucks right now because the producers forget the most important factor: It's that the Entertainment industry is a service industry.
In other words you go to the movie theaters and pay to be entertained, therefore it is a service because they serve us, not the other way around but they care too much about profit and their narrow-view on what's great.

After years of research and observation Disney went through so many phases: late 20s and early 30s was the starting point. The 40s was the Golden Age. The 50s while still the Golden Age went through a recycling stage by reusing sounds, designs, voices, and some scenes all the way to 1977. and then the the late 70s and the mid 90s was the subliminal era, then after 2000 it went to hell. But hopefully it will be revived seeing as though a new 2d movie from them will be shown in theaters.
