And a Banjo... what a music expert you are. I don't think you're opinion on music can do too much justice if you don't know anything about it. He also started out on classical, so he technically started here, and went to rock. It's in his blood, and it's actually much more difficult to play, in
some aspects. Let him do what he wants to do, I say.

Out of Ritchie's work, I liked Rainbow best,and Deep Purple second best. That was my taste as a young teenager growing up in the eighties. I think I liked Rainbow's vocalists better: Dio and JLT particularly. :-) I saw Ritchie live in concert with Deep Purple on the House Of Blue Light Tour in Providence, Rhode Island in April of 1987.

Ritchie is the God of the Guitar!!! He is just incredible musician!! You can still hear it, his playing is so amazing! But it's a pitty, that he didn't find better musicians to make this band. Especially the singer isn't good, she is just beautifull... It is such a pitty! But he is still genius and the BEST!!
