yeah but i hav read a comment on one of these videos (same vid different name) that the lion was shot because of its danger to local people. this is logical as there is nothing to say it was in captivity it might just have been recently caught because of its danger, also the lion might have taken local farmers animals, which could starve them, there are so many unknown facts so no one can really judge without the facts.

There is so much wrong with this video and its miscontruing of facts. FIRST: Challenges to the Endangered Species Act ONLY affect endangered species in that they MAY be killed due to rehabitation. SECOND: the laws concerning purchase, transportation, and hunting/killing of endangered animals for sport are CLEARLY REINFORCED in this challenge. Essentially, it makes it ok for a corporation to "accidentally" kill animals if it builds on land. THIRD: this video is from South Africa, NOT TEXAS!
