I remember where I was on 9/11 and I remember where I was when I saw this half time show. I cried then and it still brings tears to my eyes. To see all those names heading towards heaven... Thank you for posting this and God Bless U2 for this unforgettable performance.

So what if they are from Ireland, or Britain as one other commenter thought...What they did here was amazing. Politics, world views, whatever sick, cynical BS you subscribe to aside, this was a really special performance they put on to honor the folks who died on 9/11.

In 30 years of sectarian violence Northern Ireland and Ireland suffered over 3,200 dead. In one day America suffered nearly the same number...it is only fitting that a band from Ireland should pay this kind of tribute to those who died, many of whom were Irish working in the US.

This is the most insane thing I've ever seen... The thing that is so weird to me is that the drummer looks like he isn't that into it...If I was playing in front of that many people even after a bunch of years touring and doing concerts, I would still be shittin in my pants.
