haha thats kind of ignorant to say. people play nylon stings for the purity and resonance of the notes. steel/bronze/copper strings are nice and loud and all, but to many, they lack the simple purity of non-metalic vibration. but shit ill play anything.

its not ignorant to say. im not trying to offend anyone. i wasnt talking about people who play with nylon for the purity and resonance of the notes. I've met some people who just play it because its easier and dont want to discipline themselves with steel/bronze/copper strings. i understand ill play anything too:)

i was replying to your retarded ass comment on nylon strings. That is one of the most ignorant guitar related comments i have ever heard. Ever heard of classical guitar? Some of the best guitarists use nylon strings and it has nothing to do with being a pussy.

the point is that nylon strings get a more mellow and rounder tone. Classical guitars are also smaller, so the neck wouldn't be able to support the tension of steel strings. There are many other reasons. I just don't want you to think that classical guitar is a cop out. You would probably like the sound if you were to hear a good calssical piece played on one.
