yeah well, all i know is that when i saw tfot and tera melos opened for them, i was prompted to belive that tera melos just simply isn't commercial enough to truly become popular, but they were both amazing, and had a terrific show. and, hi peter.

nah, it's not mathcore. Math core is hardcore. If you want good mathcore, check out early Dillinger Escape Plan, especially Calculating Infinity.

They're just math rock. Mathcore is much heavier, more abrasive. Converge, Dillinger, Coalesce, etc. And who gave me three thumbs downs? I said they're not mathcore, which they're not haha. You guys are such tools.

who is this?? oh, it's sig. correct, tera melos chooses to not be poppy and make the music they wanna make. if they wanted to make it big, they could record more radio-pleasing tunes easily. it's obvious that reinhart is an excellent songwriter as his chord progressions ARE in fact, fairly commercially viable and yet soaringly beautiful. the main progression of this song is actually very similar to lazy eye by silversun pickups, interestingly enough. yet 40 rods is too powerful, too technical.

anyone saying tera melos is a math rock/mathcore band, please go and read their myspace blog tera melos is throughly against math rock, and it's pretty unfair to just label them in that god awful genre... let's just class them as alternative, and any other band that doesn't suck.

okayyy... can you play an instrument? can you play lazy eye? can you play 40 rods? i can play both (check my channel if you don't believe me on the 40 rods claim.) 40 rods has a recurring motif theme of Emaj7-c#min-Bmaj especially during the chill section (circa 2:15 and on.) lazy eye goes Emaj-c#min-Bmaj. very similar. not the same, but similar. granted, i know melos doesn't have a dominating chord progression throughout the song, it merely circles around Emajor7. did i say they were the same?
