In the early days the only reason metallica got large crowds and a huge underground fan base was because of Daves crazy solos and cliff theres a movie on you tube with kerry king saying how he and the slayer guys would go watch Mustaine and metallica play and were amazed at his solos. and yeah he helped write half of kill em all and 2 songs on RTL very little i think not. |

| not at all looking back lars and james were not the best at playing there instrument compared to dave or cliff james vocals were terrible in the beginning he was often shy and mustaine had to keep up the crowd and introduce the next songs,if u don't like what i say thats fine but that doesn't make daves contributions go away he is and will always be a BIG part in metallica's history no dave no metallica and if you notice I don't bash kirk i may per fer dave but he's alright |
