when a band is indie you know that they are making their music the way they want to do it. they dont have coporate media pressuring them to make music that is "popular" at that moment.
i love mgmt, but the minute that they stop being "popular" is the minute that columbia records will start trying to change them.
i hope that doesn't happen though...the world needs good music
