Jazz @ the Speed of Light http://jsl.musigy.com is an innovative project hosted by the 4th annual international Koktebel Jazz Festival (September 14-17, 2006). The world-famous jazz musicians performed live on the main stage of the festival together with other jazz celebrities located in remote studios across Europe connected via the Internet. Musicians and audiences in all venues were able to see each other on large video screens and hear high-quality sound, as if they were in the same place.
The facts that the concerts featuring world's jazz stars were conducted internationally over distances that exceeded several thousands kilometers with conventional broadband Internet connections available to consumers allow to claim that Jazz @ the Speed of Light was the world's first event of its
