This is cool. But Africa needs to start taking better care if their own. Stop talking and start doing! This is no game, why are there still people dying. There is a no excuses, people need to stop being greedy and start giving and feeding the needy. They need to start making their environment cleaner and safer. Build the self esteem of their own and others around them. Build schools and food markets. Use that mind and find a real solution to there problems. Nice video though.

What TenRen100 & Truemanchus has either failed to realise is that Philip Emegwali Gordon Bell Prize on Supercomputing for solving scientific and engineering problem was based on the same dissertation, which the Committee of Examiners at the University of Michigan rejected twice for his doctoral degree examination. Emeagwali challenged the committees decision in the State Court of Appeal-Michigan, and in uninimous decision, the 3-judge panel dismissed his appeal without trial!

Because Emeagwali's claim (whining) was completely without merit. His Gordon prize was a second-place finish -- you know that, right? Another team outperformed him, but the committee didn't want to give that team two prizes, so Em got a consolation prize. Read the wikipedia article on him. The word 'phony' comes to mind.
