Grinding BARF with the Sam Baere SB810
Uploaded by: BARFgrind
Video Description:
BARF stands for Bones and Raw Food. It's a healthy, natural diet I prepare myself for my dogs. For this particular session, I have a mix of raw meats: pork, chicken drumstricks, chicken thighs, and pork riblets. The SB810 is the grinder I usually use nowadays as it makes my large grinding jobs so much more efficient. The crackling sound you hear in the video is the sound of the grinding smashing through those bones, as if they were nothing more than, well, BONELESS meat. For more information on this grinder, visit the manufacturer's website at www.SamBaere.com.

| that is a nice meat grinder. did you know even human grade pork can carry parasites , so ideally for raw feeding pork should be frozen for about three weeks. |

| I guess it would depend on the size of the holes in the plate you use. We use a fairly large size and the bones come out somewhat like kosher salt, maybe a little bigger. Not big enough to chew, although every once in a while you you'll get a larger/longer piece. |
