Ego check.... 1st off an engine swap is not a bad thing. You do it cause you want the JDM powered B18 Type R in your Civic and not the crummy US Type R. So what! Not an argument.
Supras have TURBO! ofcourse they have torque!
Put a Jackson Racing supercharger on the Civic vwala TORQUE!! BTW FF powered cars dont do well with big torque anyway. Next I suppose you want a cheetah, to pull a horse carrage.

Now my little Civic with 130ftlb of torque makes a 13.8sec quarter mile time. Super charged Civics making 180ftlb torque are in the 11's. 180ftlbs of torque at 3krpms is ALOT for a 2,500lb car.So there you have it.

Thanks for saying so, The B16 is a safer place to put turbo and Hi revs cause the shorter stroke, Since I was going all motor I decided to go with the B18C-5. Good to hear a non hater comment.

I hear what you are saying. You have a certain disconnection with Civics because there are alot of idiots doing stupid things to them. Feeling apart from "that crowd" you feel more comfortable perhaps even a little elegant with your Supra. And thats perfectlly alright, do what makes you happy. I just could not let someone belittle the Type R.
My car is NO wing, NO body kit, NO crap. Greaddy SP2 catback and Rota MAG 7's 15" wheels. Lowered on a F2 full adj Suspension.

Although that was the only time they lined up that day, the Supra ran faster than the Viper all day long. 144 to low 130s. The Supra let off the gas before crossing the line in the video posted. Otherwise it would've been worse.
